I don’t eat as many green leafy things like I should, so I had to come up with a way to get some of those bad boys into my system. Since the whole world is bonkers about kale, that’s what I used here, but you could substitute spinach as well. The mint takes away the bitterness of the kale, the pineapple is great for your digestion, and the little touch of mango makes it smooth.
This drink is so good and refreshing, you’ll instantly feel like you’re on a tropical island, and feel proud that you’ve done something great for your body! 😀
🍍Tropical Kale Smoothie🍍
- 1 cup frozen kale
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/4 cup frozen mango
- 8-10 mint leaves, to taste (I love it super minty, so I go for 10)
- 1 1/2 cups water
Throw everything into a Vitamix or bender and blend, blend, blend until smooth. Makes 1-2 servings.
